Frozen In Time?

Just in case you missed it, Tony Parker literally froze Steve Blake on a fastbreak drive. Now, Steve Blake is not the most athletic guard, but still he was humiliated on that Tony Parker crossover. Even the Staples Center crowd was in "ahhh."

Yeah the Spurs get the reputation of being old, so notoriously Parker is also deemed old. He calls his old label, "old by association" - that is by playing with Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan, whom are 34 and 35 years old respectively. So all this nonsense of Parker being old is outrageous. He is only 29 years old, even though he has been in Silver and Black for 11 years. Afterall, an "old" man would not be able to freeze a very capable point guard like Tony Parker did in the Spurs dominant victory over the Lakers.

Unfortunately, Tony Parker will not recieve many votes for MVP given that he is in a "small market" called San Antonio. But like Parker says, if the Big Three won 4 titles in a large market like New York, they would be considered "basketball gods." Parker will have to continue to wow the league like he has all season, just to be recognized despite being a legit MVP candidate. Shout out to Tony Parker for not only freezing Steve Blake, but also seemingly freezing the ageless Spurs.
TP 4 MVP for 5 titles. 4+5= 9 TP.
